Running With Scissors (New Zealand paintball team)
Running With Scissors was a New Zealand paintball team documented in three-player competition in 2005. It won the first two rounds of the 2005 Hamilton 3x Series. [1][2]

[edit]Running With Scissors finished first among twelve teams in the opening Hamilton 3x round on 10 July 2005, scoring 989 points ahead of Monkeys and Karnage. [1]
The team won the second round on 11 September with 810 points, ahead of Hybrid and Monkeys. The standings published after that event placed Running With Scissors at the top of the series with 20 points. These were interim standings rather than a final season championship result. [2]

Use of the team name in Canada, 2007
[edit]In March 2007, a New Zealand player posting as ST4T and signing as Stat reported competing under the Running With Scissors name at Spring Fever in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada. He played alongside two Canadian players whom he had not previously met and acknowledged his teammates back in New Zealand. [3]
According to his account, the mixed squad finished second in the rookie division after winning both semi-final games and losing both games in the final. This was a locally assembled squad using the name, rather than a documented appearance by the team's New Zealand lineup. [3]
