Keith Docherty is a New Zealand paintball player and equipment supplier documented as a member of Saints in a contemporary New Zealand Paintball profile preserved in February 1998. He previously played for Dragons Claw and The Goodies.[1]

Paintball involvement

Playing career

Docherty's profile states that he discovered paintball through a company social game and had been involved in the sport for approximately seven years at the time of the interview.[1]

He played for The Goodies, followed by Dragons Claw, before joining Saints. The profile does not establish his membership dates or identify a particular Saints squad.[1]

Equipment supply

The profile also identifies Docherty as a paintball equipment supplier.[1]

A contemporary field and store directory lists him as the contact for Kiwi Paintball, a home-based equipment supplier, and links to its website.[2]

Equipment and views

Docherty identified the PGP as his preferred marker because he favoured stock-class play. He advocated a revival of stock-class competition and suggested limiting the amount of paint players could carry to reduce the financial disadvantage faced by some teams.[1]

He also supported developing more teams and strengthening paintball's social aspects to attract new players.[1]
