Nemesis X-Tour
Nemesis X-Tour (NXT) was a Malaysian novice tournament paintball series organised in 2008 by Nemesis Paintball Club and the Malaysian National Paintball League (MY-NPL) headquarters. The competition was intended for lower-division Malaysian teams and used the Pahlawan novice classification. Two rounds are documented, held in Kuantan and Petaling Jaya. [1][2][3][4]

2008 series
[edit]Round 1
[edit]The first round was scheduled for 1–2 March 2008 at Taman Pertanian JPSHAS in Bandar Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, Pahang. Field walking and the captains' meeting were scheduled for 29 February. [1]
The competition was advertised as a special novice league for Malaysian Division 3 and Division 4 teams. Division 1 and Division 2 players were excluded, mechanical markers were required and each team could register no more than seven active players. [1]
Sixteen teams participated. A contemporary field report stated that more than 70 games, including the knockout rounds and final, were completed within one day. Eight referees from the Malaysian Paintball Referee Organisation officiated the competition. [2]
X3MIX defeated Team OSB in the final. Blues Kang and Rangers completed the top four. [2]

Round 2
[edit]The second documented round was held on 17–18 May 2008 at the Malaysian Paintball Academy at Kompleks Sukan Astaka in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. [3][4]
The event remained open to Division 3 and Division 4 teams. Unlike the first round, the announcement described marker choice as open and stated that house markers would be available. [3]
Oscar Legio-X won the round, followed by Iron Sea, Bellicose and Silent Shooters. [4]

Competition structure
[edit]The Nemesis X-Tour was presented as a novice competition for teams from the lower divisions of Malaysian tournament paintball.
Both documented rounds used the Pahlawan classification and were associated with MY-NPL. Eligibility and equipment rules were not identical between rounds: the first excluded Division 1 and Division 2 players and required mechanical markers, while the second was advertised for Division 3 and Division 4 teams with open marker selection.
