2000 NPPL World Cup
The 2000 NPPL World Cup was an international paintball tournament held in October 2000 in Kissimmee, Florida, United States. Promoted by Jerry Braun, it concluded the National Professional Paintball League (NPPL) season and included five-player and ten-player competitions.[1]
The Southern California Ironmen won the professional ten-player tournament and the NPPL professional season championship. All Americans won the professional five-player competition.[1]
Tournament
The event used an expanded version of the 1999 World Cup site, with ten constructed playing fields incorporating Hyperball and inflatable bunkers. More than 170 teams entered the five-player competition.[1]
Competition included Professional, Amateur A and Amateur B classifications. An additional Novice classification was created by dividing the Amateur B entry for this event.[1]
