The 1999 Urban Combat Pairs Open was a two-player paintball tournament held on 11 July 1999 at Urban Combat's indoor arena in Pakuranga, Auckland, New Zealand. Six teams competed, with G.I. Bob winning with 220 points.[1]

Organisation and format

The tournament was organised by field operator Collin, with AJ serving as head marshal. Games took place on the arena's indoor barricade field.[1]

The competition used an open-class, two-player centre-flag format with a round-robin draw. Games lasted five minutes. Teams received five points per elimination, 20 for the first flag pull and 50 for a clean flag hang.[1]

Most players used semi-automatic markers, while Phantom Fury competed entirely with stock-class markers.[1]
