2012 NZPPL Super 5 Man Series
2012 NZPPL Super 5 Man Series was a tournament paintball competition programme organised by the New Zealand Paintball Players League (NZPPL) in New Zealand during 2012. The league's archived website lists four event pages for the season and preserves a registration list containing 24 team names.[1][2]
A later tournament report credits ADHD with winning the opening NZPPL round of 2012.[3] The surviving records do not establish the complete season results or overall championship winner.
Organisation
The NZPPL operated a national competition programme using five-player tournament paintball.
An archived version of its official website from August 2012 linked to four event pages and a dedicated season rankings section.[2]
The original competition used rules published by the NZPPL, with a separate registration process for participating teams.
The complete event calendar and original rankings have not been recovered.
2012 competition
Opening round
A retrospective report published by Asylum Paintball in 2014 identified ADHD as the winner of NZPPL Round 1 in 2012.[3]
The report establishes a claimed tournament victory but does not provide the original 2012 results sheet, competition date or full standings.
Event 3: Kāpiti Coast
The NZPPL's registration page, archived on 31 August 2012, advertised its third event for 20–21 October 2012 on the Kāpiti Coast.[1]

The names are reproduced from the registration list, with capitalisation standardised.
Registration does not establish that every listed team attended the tournament. The original event results have not been recovered.
Other rounds
The NZPPL's August 2012 website contained links to Event 1, Event 2 and Event 4, as well as Event 3.[2]
The surviving homepage establishes the existence of these event pages but does not independently establish the completion dates, venues or final standings of every round.
Earlier NZPPL activity
The NZPPL was already promoting five-player tournament competition in 2011.
An official announcement advertised an Easter tournament at Tatum Park, Manakau, Horowhenua, for 23–24 April 2011.[4]
The league's archived media gallery also contains links to footage described as the 2011 NZPPL Nationals, including Cup and Plate finals, and references to Queen's Birthday and Labour Weekend competitions.[5]
These records establish that the NZPPL's documented history predates the 2012 season.
The league should not be confused with the original New Zealand National Paintball League, which operated during the 1990s, or the New Zealand Paintball Players Association, a separate organisation.
Historical records
The NZPPL maintained its official website at nzppl.com.
Surviving archived pages include the 2011 Tatum Park announcement, the August 2012 Event 3 registration list, a 2012 homepage linking to four events, and an archive of tournament videos.[1][2][4][5]
A subsequent report from Asylum Paintball provides additional evidence of an opening-round result in 2012.[3]
The original 2012 rankings table and complete event results remain unrecovered.
