2009 Hamilton 3s
2009 Hamilton 3s was a three-player paintball competition in the Hamilton region of New Zealand. SCK Factory won the opening round on 22 February 2009, ahead of CL Mafia and The NGN.[1]
Background and organisation
The competition followed three-player events held during 2008. A December 2008 report, published under the name “HXC 3s”, acknowledged prize support from SCK and announced that the competition would continue in 2009.[2]
The January 2009 announcement proposed monthly events and two new Spyder Cup fields. Entry was advertised at NZ$30 and paintballs at NZ$90 per case.[3]
Opening round
Six teams competed on 22 February 2009. The published placings were:[1]

Arch NME and Unthinkables shared fourth place. The organiser also published links to footage of the competition and a time-lapse recording of field preparation.[1]
