2001 International Amateur Open
The 2001 International Amateur Open, also known as the 2001 International Zap Amateur Open, was a paintball tournament held in August 2001 at Three Rivers Paintball in Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania, United States. It was the eleventh consecutive edition of the International Amateur Open. Promoted by Debra Krischke, the event's principal sponsors were ZAP and 32 Degrees Paintball.[1]
The programme included three-player, five-player, ten-player and Young Guns competitions, together with an equipment exhibition and the annual Paintball Industry Conference.[1]

Competition used woodland and speedball fields, including Ultimate Airball inflatable-bunker layouts. Grandstands overlooked one of the inflatable fields.[1]
Five-player competition had separate rookie, novice and amateur divisions. Ten-player competition included novice and amateur divisions, while the Young Guns competition provided a separate youth event.[2][3][5]
