Young Guns and stock-class games used a smaller field with Game On Gear bunkers. Young Guns was a three-player competition for players aged 15 or younger at the start of the season who were not experienced tournament players.[1]

The five-player competition used the Pan Am Circuit's limited-paint format, under which each player was restricted to 200 rounds. The restriction reduced the firepower difference between semiautomatic and pump markers. Chipley Custom Machine attracted particular attention by competing with customised [[WGP Sniper]] pump markers, including a preliminary-round victory over the [[Naughty Dogs]].[1][2]
