The 2005 Sire Cup, announced as the Sire Challenge Cup, was a three-player paintball competition in Wellington, New Zealand. Its opening round was held on 24 July 2005 at TAG Pomare, with eleven teams competing. Diesel won the round with 991 points.[1][2]
Organisation and format

The event used modified 2005 NPPL rules, including changes to field size and scoring. Wellington Hybrid volunteered to provide referees.[2]
