The 2010 CPPS Round 4 was the fourth round of the 2010 Central Premier Paintball Series season, held on 27 June 2010. The event took place at the new CPPS venue on South Staffordshire College's Rodbaston Campus near Penkridge. Disruption headed the published M7 ranking.[1][2][3]

Dates and venue

[edit]

The organiser announced that Round 4 would move to Rodbaston following the closure of the previous Midland Tournament Paintball Centre site. A subsequent report confirmed that the new site had hosted the event, while noting that further construction work remained.[1][2]

M5 Premier and Championship were advertised for the morning, with Conference entries split between morning and afternoon sessions. M7 race-to-four X Ball was scheduled for the afternoon. These were advertised allocations, not independently verified actual start times.[1]

Results

[edit]

Harris published the event scores on 29 June. Following queries, he corrected the M5 Premier figures. On 22 July he directed readers to use the amended event-score thread rather than the outdated figures in a parallel league-table thread.[3][4]

The following tables preserve the amended event post's order and figures without inventing further M5 rankings.[3]

M5 Premier

[edit]
Team Published points Eliminations scored Eliminations conceded Elimination difference
Warped 10 54 22 32
MH3 10 50 17 33
Ratz 8 45 24 21
Devastation 7 45 40 5
UK Asylum 7 44 41 3
Smokin Aces 6 39 30 9
Unity 4 33 49 -16
The Firm 5 33 47 -14
So Manc 4 35 42 -7
The Clan 4 31 43 -12
Rebellion 1 22 48 -26
Addiction 0 16 50 -34

The corrected post lists Warped and MH3 on ten points, with MH3 having the higher elimination difference. It also lists Unity before The Firm despite their four and five points respectively. These source-order discrepancies are retained rather than treated as a definitive finishing order.[3]

[edit]

The organiser published group scores and a combined ranking. The table below combines those published fields while retaining the stated ranking order.[3]

Reading Entity and Rival Kidz both recorded zero group points. Their listed ranking order is retained despite Rival Kidz having the less negative point difference.[3]

Coverage

[edit]

Tom Ormrod published three recordings explicitly identified as Team Spank's Round 4 games on 20 August 2010.[5][6][7]
