'''Werdna Hol Cup''' ('''WHC''') was a Malaysian tournament paintball series operated by Werdna Hol Sportz. The competition used a three-player format and was intended to provide newer teams with tournament experience.[1][2] Contemporary records document multiple legs during 2007 and a proposed revival under the name '''Werdna Hol Cup v32''' in 2009. Patrick Tan, who was associated with Werdna Hol Sportz, later described the Werdna Hol Cup as a developmental three-player league. He identified Zealous, Warriors and Singaporean team Red Sevens among the teams whose early tournament experience included the series.[2] == Competition format == A contemporary overview of Malaysian tournament paintball identified the Werdna Hol Cup as a three-player competition, in contrast with the five-player formats then used by the [[Malaysian National Paintball League]] and [[Malaysian Paintball Official Circuit]].[1] Complete rules, divisional structures and season standings from the original series have not been recovered. == 2007 series == Surviving records establish that the Werdna Hol Cup operated as a multi-leg series in 2007. The first and second legs are implied by the numbering of the documented third leg, but their dates, venues and results have not been located. The third leg was held in September 2007. Villain Paintball photographed the two-day tournament and published galleries containing more than 600 photographs.[3][4] Teams identified in the surviving gallery material included Kampung Ledang, Neighbours and Zombie Kg Pisang, although no final standings were published.[4] A fourth leg was scheduled for 27 and 28 October 2007. The organisers subsequently postponed it after receiving reports that numerous participants could not attend. The announcement proposed combining the postponed round with the fifth leg on 24 and 25 November, when the overall champion was to be decided.[5] No reliable record confirming that the combined November tournament occurred or identifying an overall champion has been located. {| class="wikitable" ! The announcement described it as a one-off tournament or league event divided across two weekends.[6] The Amateur division was scheduled for 5 and 6 December, with the Open division scheduled for 12 and 13 December. Both divisions had an advertised registration fee of RM350 per team, including one box of paintballs.[6] {| class="wikitable" ! Division ! Scheduled dates !
