== History ==

=== Origins and woodsball ===

A retrospective account shared on the team's Facebook page dates its origins to woodsball at Bukit Cherakah in 2009 and states that it began participating in speedball in 2010.[1]

The international Ultimate Woodsball League's published 2010 world rankings placed Unknown fourth with 209.5 seed points from two recorded events, the highest position among the Malaysian entries.[2]

The Tactical Paintball Championship organiser's 2011 overall results listed Unknown 1 first, ahead of JTF Bravo and Mud Legion.[3]

In the [[2012 Malaysia Woodsball League]], Unknown won the Open category at the Kijal and Paintball Valley rounds.[4]

=== Asian tournament competition ===

Unknown's historical PBLeagues record includes appearances in the Paintball Asia League Series, World Cup Asia, Singapore Paintball Series, Renegade Paintball Championship and NXL Asia.[5]

The team finished runner-up in Division 2 at World Cup Asia in 2014 and 2016. It won Open X-Ball at the first leg of the 2015 Singapore Paintball Series.[5]

=== Malaysian X-Ball League and Europe ===

Unknown finished third, second and third respectively in Division 2 X-Ball at the three 2024 [[Malaysian X-Ball League]] rounds.[6]

The team competed in Division 4 X-Ball at the NXL European Championships in Dreux, France, finishing seventh of eighteen teams in 2025 and tenth of nineteen in 2026.[6][7]

Unknown was fifteenth in the published 2026 NXL Europe Division 4 season rankings.[8]

== Team records ==

PBLeagues maintains two Unknown profiles. The historical record, registered on 7 May 2013, lists Ampang, Selangor, as its hometown and MAPAAC in Petaling Jaya as its home field. A later record, registered on 20 February 2024, lists Shah Alam and NLPA.[5][6]

These are database registration dates rather than team founding dates.
