The Creed was an Australian tournament paintball team documented in Victorian and national competition during the late 1990s. It won the amateur division of 1999 APPL Round One at Heartbreak Ridge Paintball in New South Wales.[5] Earlier results included fourth place in the amateur division of the 1998 Victorian Five-Man Masters and second place for The Creed Black at the 1998 Victorian Three-Man Tournament.[1][2] == History == === 1996 Victorian series records === The published standings for the 1996 Victorian Three-Man Series included entries named Cockatoo Creed β Itchy and Cockatoo Creed β Scratchy, which recorded 345 and 219 points respectively.[3] The reports do not explicitly establish the relationship between these entries and the team subsequently identified as The Creed. === 1998 Victorian Five-Man Masters === The Creed competed in the amateur division of the 1998 Victorian Five-Man Masters at Paintball Action Games near Ballan, Victoria.[1] The team qualified for the four-team amateur finals and finished fourth.[1] === 1998 Australian Seven-Player Championships === The Creed competed in the amateur division of the 1998 Australian Seven-Player Paintball Championships at Yarramundi, New South Wales. Simon Morrison wrote the contemporary tournament report on behalf of the team and identified Barry Davies as its captain.[4] The Creed defeated Acme and Onslaught during the preliminary round. It finished sixth in the amateur standings with 270 points and did not qualify for the finals.[4] === 1998 Victorian Three-Man Tournament === Entries named The Creed Black and The Creed Blue competed at the 1998 Victorian Three-Man Tournament at the Peninsula Paintball Club's Frankston site.[2] The Creed Black qualified for the three-team finals. It lost to Rat Pack but defeated Xtreme, finishing second overall.[2] === 1999 APPL Round One === The Creed won the amateur division of the opening round of the Australasian Paintball Players League's 1999 seven-player competition at Heartbreak Ridge Paintball in Blacktown, New South Wales.[5] The tournament attracted seven professional and three amateur teams. The Creed led the amateur preliminary standings with 615 points, ahead of SWAT A on 440 and Acme on 120.[5] In the amateur finals, The Creed defeated both opponents and finished with 200 points. SWAT A placed second with 125 points and Acme third with 40.[5] Simon Morrison documented the tournament in a first-person report for Paint.[5] == Recorded results == {| class="wikitable" !
