Sumo Marketing is primarily associated with heavyweight denim paintball jerseys of the type worn during the early years of competitive paintball.[1]

Collectors have also tentatively attributed Realtree camouflage jerseys to the company, including examples with contrasting collars and cuffs. These identifications have not been independently confirmed through contemporary product catalogues or company records.[2]

The company's founding date, ownership, location and period of operation have not been established from available contemporary sources.

Retrospective discussions among vintage paintball collectors identify Sumo Marketing as one of the historical soft-goods brands associated with early paintball clothing.[3]
