'''Rhythm Method''' was an Australian scratch [[paintball]] team that finished third at the Australian Five-Man Open at Mount White, New South Wales, on 25–26 February 1995. The team led the preliminary standings, and player Rob Ambrose received the tournament's Most Valuable Player award.[1] == Tournament participation == Rhythm Method competed at Adventure Quest Games' Mount White fields against seven other teams. The tournament used fourteen preliminary games followed by a four-team round-robin final.[1] The team played the first day with four players: Peter Russell, Rob Ambrose and two local referees identified as Bluey and AJ. Barton Rogers joined as the fifth player on Sunday.[1] Rhythm Method finished second after the opening day and led the completed preliminary standings with 991 points. In the finals, it scored 132 points and finished third, behind [[Top Hat Jokers]] and Black Reign.[1] Ambrose continued playing after suffering an ankle injury during Sunday's opening round. He received the event's Most Valuable Player award.[1] == Documented players == The contemporary tournament report identified the following participants:[1] * Peter Russell * Rob Ambrose * Bluey * AJ * Barton Rogers — joined on the second day == References == # Paul Jurdeczka, “Jokers Wild at Australian Open”, ''Australian Paintballer'', June–July 1995, pp. 60–61.
