Editing KAO$ (Malta Paintball Team)

KAO$ is a Maltese paintball team documented in domestic competition results, field publicity and participant-produced media from the 2010s. It also used the name KAO$ Malta Paintball Team. Results published by the Malta Allied Airgunners Club placed Kao$ second in the first Malta Official Paintball League competition in 2011. [1]

Later records document games at Maltese fields and participation in scenario events, including North versus South and Paintfest. [2][3][4]

History
Domestic competition
On 26 June 2011, the MAAC Paint Ball blog published results for the first Malta Official Paintball League competition. Listed as Kao$, the team scored 860, behind SDT on 1,100 and ahead of SCALA and MAMALS. This documents the team by June 2011 rather than establishing its founding date. [1]

Local playing activity
An archived Paintball Mania website capture from 10 December 2015 preserves a gallery titled Team KAO$. Its accompanying text also uses the spelling Team Kayos. [5]

In a post dated 10 June 2016, KAO$ announced an upcoming session at Extreme Paintball, referred to the preparation of team clothing and shared photographs from an earlier session. [2]

On 29 August 2017, the team reported a completed game at Paintball Mania. These records document activity at both venues without establishing either as the team's exclusive home field. [2][6]

Overseas event participation
Scenario events
The team's YouTube channel published KAO$ Malta At Staargate Vs Starwars Paintball Event on 10 November 2015. Its description identifies the event as a Shoreline and Blue Water Paintball production. The upload date does not establish the playing date. [7]

A further video, North Vs South 2016 KAO$ Highlights, identifies the team's participation in the 2016 North versus South paintball big game. A June 2016 team post also referred to editing footage from that event. [2][3]

Paintfest 2017
A team report following Paintfest 2017 thanked Dave and Harrogate Mafia Paintball Team for their assistance, hospitality and shared campsite accommodation. This provides a participant account of KAO$ attending the event and its connection with another paintball team. [4]

Reported tournament win in 2017
In June 2017, KAO$ published a video titled KAO$ Malta Tournament Win. Its description referred to preparing for Paintfest 2017 following another tournament victory. [8]

The accompanying material does not identify the competition, opponents or complete standings. The claim therefore remains attributed to the team rather than establishing a named championship title. [8]
