'''Feilding Paintball Club Incorporated''' was a [[paintball]] club based in [[Feilding]], in the [[Manawatū]] region of [[New Zealand]]. Registered as an incorporated society in January 2018, the club sought to establish organised paintball activities and dedicated playing facilities for the local community.

The club received support from Sport Manawatū and was approved for NZ$14,412 in funding from the Manawatū District Council towards safety infrastructure.

=== Establishment ===

Feilding Paintball Club Incorporated was registered as a New Zealand incorporated society on 26 January 2018, under registration number 2693732. [1]

The club was established to provide opportunities for organised paintball participation in Feilding.

During the 2018–2019 financial year, the organisation received assistance from Sport Manawatū, the regional sports and recreation organisation.

Sport Manawatū's annual report, presented to the Manawatū District Council in May 2020, identified the club among the organisations it was assisting.

The report stated that Sport Manawatū was supporting Feilding Paintball Club with its establishment and the development of programmes for the community. [2]

=== Proposed facilities at Kōwhai Park ===

Feilding Paintball Club was identified in the Manawatū District Council's Kōwhai Park Reserve Management Plan as a prospective user of the public reserve.

The plan described the club's intention to use a field in the southwestern area of Kōwhai Park for paintball practices and events.

The proposed site would be accessed from Rata Street, with secure fencing erected around the playing area while paintball activities were taking place. [3]

Kōwhai Park was an established public recreational reserve accommodating organised sports and casual recreational activities.

The management plan documented the proposed use of the park for paintball, although the available records do not establish whether the playing area subsequently became operational.

=== Council funding ===

During the 2018–2019 financial year, Feilding Paintball Club was approved for financial support through the Manawatū District Council's Community Development Fund.

The council's Annual Report 2018–19 records an allocation of '''NZ$14,412''' towards constructing a purpose-built paintball safety fence. [4]

The funding was intended to enable the club to commence activities by providing appropriate safety infrastructure.

The annual report identifies the funding approval but does not confirm completion of the fencing project.

Feilding Paintball Club Incorporated was formally dissolved on 8 April 2021.

The notice identified the organisation by its registered name and society number, 2693732.

The Registrar of Incorporated Societies declared the listed organisations dissolved on the grounds that they were no longer carrying on operations.
