Extremists, also recorded as The Extremists, was a South Australian tournament paintball team documented during the mid-1990s. The team competed at the 1995 Australian Masters and fielded entries at the South Australian Five-Man Challenge later that year.[1][2] == History == === 1995 Australian Masters === Extremists competed at the 1995 Australian Masters at Skirmish Adventures in Helensburgh, New South Wales. The contemporary report described the South Australian team as playing its first tournament and recorded that it finished last.[1] In an interview published by War Paint, Rage player Todd Adamson discussed a game against Extremists and identified their markers as Tippmann Pro-Ams. He contrasted these with Rage's nitrogen-powered AutoMags when discussing equipment and training in Australian tournament paintball.[3] === 1995 South Australian Five-Man Challenge === Extremists also competed in the South Australian Five-Man Challenge on 18–19 November 1995. The report identified Extreme Paintball Products as a sponsor and included photographs captioned Extremists A and Extremists B.[2] The published leading placings were Hardline Militia, SWAT, Apparition and Hardline Extreme. The report does not establish the final placings of the Extremists entries.[2] == League representation == In 1996, Daniel Lacey of Extremists was identified as a South Australian representative of the Australasian Paintball Players League, alongside Nigel Abbott of Hardline.[4] == Recorded tournament participation == {| class="wikitable" !
