Decay of Nations 19, officially promoted as Decay of Nations XIX: Uprising, was the nineteenth edition of the American scenario paintball event Decay of Nations, held on 26β27 September 2026 at SC Village in Chino, California.[1] The event featured the continuing fictional conflict between UNA and EKRON, commanded by Mark "Mr. H" Kressin and Todd Martinez respectively. Organised by SC Village, the two-day competition incorporated objective-based woodsball, specialised scenario equipment and organised military-style command structures.[1][2] == Background == The nineteenth edition followed Decay of Nations 18, held in September 2025. The 2026 event was promoted under the title Uprising, continuing the established conflict between UNA and EKRON. Earlier in the year, SC Village promoted a separate event titled Decay of Nations: Faultline, scheduled for 6 June 2026 at its San Diego-area facility in Lakeside, California. The organisers marketed Faultline and Uprising as two connected chapters in the same fictional conflict, offering combined registration for both events.[3] == Commanders == The official event announcement identified the following command staff.[1] {| class="wikitable" ! Role ! UNA ! EKRON |- | General | Mark "Mr. H" Kressin | Todd Martinez |- | Executive officer | Eder Mejia | Sticky the Psycho Clown |- | Executive officer | ZombieGirl | Buttercup |- | Executive officer | Kidd Loop | James "Skeletor" Davis |- | Executive officer | Archie Sandoval | Noah Herrick |- | Executive officer | Jordan Coniglio | T-Devil |} == Event programme == Decay of Nations 19 took place over the weekend of 26β27 September, with registration and additional activities scheduled for Friday, 25 September.[1] === Friday, 25 September === Registration was scheduled from noon until 18:00. The organisers offered a separate evening activity known as Cosmic Paintball, featuring glow-in-the-dark paintballs and illuminated playing areas. The optional game was scheduled from 19:30 to 22:30 and required a separate ticket.[1] === Saturday, 26 September === Saturday's principal scenario programme was scheduled to begin at 10:00. Players competed as opposing UNA and EKRON forces under their respective generals and executive officers. The organisers published a battlefield map and mission timetable through the official event website.[1] === Sunday, 27 September === Scenario competition continued on Sunday, completing the event's two-day programme.[1] == Game rules == Decay of Nations 19 followed the established scenario paintball format used by SC Village. Players were required to use approved event paintballs, and First Strike rounds were prohibited. Markers were restricted to semi-automatic firing, with a maximum muzzle velocity of 285 feet per second.[2] === Reinsertion points === The event permitted eliminated players to return to play through designated reinsertion points. These included permanent team command post locations and flag stations controlled by the player's faction. Opposing teams could disable flag station reinsertion points by lowering the controlling faction's flag, but could not use captured enemy reinsertion points themselves.[2] === Specialised equipment === The organisers permitted approved specialist equipment, including: * Paintball tanks and armoured vehicles. * Armoured suits known as mechs. * Defensive shields. * Paintball grenades. * Approved rocket launchers. Players using specialised equipment were required to obtain approval and an identification band from the event's prop master. Tanks and mechs were subject to separate elimination rules. Tanks could be disabled or eliminated through direct hits from approved rockets, while mechs could be eliminated using approved explosive props.[2] == Registration and facilities == Registration included admission to the weekend's scenario games, one case of paintballs and compressed-air refills. Participants were also offered event patches and headbands, subject to availability. The organisers provided camping options for tents, cars and recreational vehicles, alongside designated team staging areas. Special event jerseys, clothing and additional paintballs were available for purchase.[1] == Results == The event's final score, winning faction and verified attendance figure have not been established from the available published records. == See also == * Decay of Nations * Decay of Nations 18 * SC Village * Scenario paintball * Woodsball == References == # SC Village β Decay of Nations 19: Uprising, official event announcement, command staff and programme, 2026 # SC Village β Decay of Nations 19 Rules of Scenario Play, 2026 # [https://mcarterbrown.com/forum/paintball-news-aa/scenarios-and-big-games/838075-decay-of-nations-19-sc-village-sept-26-27-2026 M.
