'''Darkside''', also recorded as '''The Dark Side''', was an Australian tournament [[paintball]] team based in Sydney, New South Wales. Captained by Louie Saliba, the team won the amateur division of the [[1995 Australian Three-Man Speedball Championships]].[1][4] == Tournament history == === 1995 Sydney Skirmish Sevens === Darkside competed at the Sydney Skirmish Sevens at Ultimate Skirmish Game in Yarramundi in April 1995. The team entered the elimination stage seeded seventh with 255 points.[2] In its elimination game against the Delegates, Darkside player Darren Hansell secured the flag early in the game. The Delegates subsequently eliminated the remaining Darkside players and completed a flag hang, ending Darkside's tournament.[2] The contemporary report identified Louie Saliba as captain.[2] === 1995 Australian Three-Man Speedball Championships === Darkside won the amateur division of the Australian Three-Man Speedball Championships at Heartbreak Ridge Paintball in Sydney on 5 November 1995.[1] Twenty-three teams contested professional and amateur divisions. The Delegates won the professional division.[1] === National ranking === An entry named The Dark Side placed sixth in ''Australian Paintballer'''s national amateur rankings for the 1995 season, receiving 31.1 ranking points. The rankings identified the team as being from New South Wales.[3] == Recruitment == A recruitment notice in the April–June 1996 issue of ''Australian Paintballer'' identified Darkside as a Sydney team seeking reliable players and named Louie Saliba as its contact.[4] == Recorded results == {| class="wikitable" !
