Editing Council of Captains (New Zealand)

The '''Council of Captains''' was a restricted-access discussion forum for New Zealand paintball team captains on the NZ P8NT website. Documented from August 2007, it provided a place to discuss issues affecting paintball and tournament participation. [1][2]

== History and purpose ==
On 15 August 2007, a public announcement by forum user ANTSMAN68, signing as Ants, invited team captains to request access. The announcement stated that a forum section had been established for constructive discussion of current issues and the future direction of paintball. A further notice on 12 December described it as a private forum for team captains. [1][2]

Access instructions published on 1 February 2008 explained that registered forum users could request admission to the Council of Captains section. The section contained tournament discussions and payment information for team entry and paint at the [[2008 Wellington Easter Tournament]]. [3]

== Documented team representatives ==
A public post dated 14 February 2008 listed the following teams and representatives with access at that time. Names and usernames are reproduced as recorded; the list is not a set of team rosters. [3]
