'''Bad Rapps''', also recorded as '''Badd Rapps''', was an Australian tournament [[paintball]] team from Ipswich, Queensland. Contemporary reports document its participation in the 1995 Australian Five-Man Open and Sydney Skirmish Sevens.[1][2] == History == === Early player experience === A 1995 account of Top Gun's Amateur Challenge Cup stated that four Badd Rapps players had gained their first tournament experience with the Berzerkers, which won the competition in September 1992. The account does not establish when Badd Rapps formed.[3] === 1995 Australian Five-Man Open === Bad Rapps competed at the Australian Five-Man Open at Adventure Quest Games' Mount White fields on 25–26 February 1995. The contemporary report identified the team as travelling from Ipswich and recorded temporary players Neil Martin and Michelle Vickery.[1] Eight teams entered the tournament, with four advancing to the finals. Bad Rapps finished fifth in the preliminary standings with 674 points, 48 behind [[Fig Jam (Australian Paintball Team)|FIGJAM]], which secured the final qualifying place.[1] In correspondence published after the event, captain Alex McLean praised its organisation and described the savings the team made under the bring-your-own-paint format.[4] === 1995 Sydney Skirmish Sevens === Badd Rapps competed at the Sydney Skirmish Sevens at Ultimate Skirmish Game in Yarramundi in April 1995.[2] The team entered the elimination stage seeded sixth with 285 points. It lost its elimination game to Body Count and did not advance to the concluding four-team round-robin finals.[2] == Documented personnel == Alex McLean was identified as Badd Rapps' captain in contemporary tournament coverage and correspondence.[2][4] Neil Martin and Michelle Vickery were recorded as temporary players at the February 1995 Australian Five-Man Open. Their participation at that event does not establish permanent team membership.[1] == Recorded tournament results == {| class="wikitable" ! Year ! Competition ! Recorded outcome !
