Apparition was an Australian tournament paintball team associated with Paintball Action Games near Ballan, Victoria. The team won the 1996 Victorian Three-Man Series and supplied the core refereeing staff for the 1998 Victorian Five-Man Masters.[1][2] == History == === 1996 Victorian Three-Man Series === Apparition won the 1996 Victorian Three-Man Series with 1,095 points.[1] At the opening round at Splatball Village in Carrum Downs, Apparition reached the championship game but lost to Challenge Raiders. The team won the second round at Paintball Frankston, defeating The Scuds in the final.[1] Three rounds were completed before the planned fourth tournament was cancelled. Apparition finished first in the overall standings. A separate entry named Apparition 2 recorded 160 series points.[1] === 1998 Victorian Five-Man Masters === Apparition was identified as the home team at Paintball Action Games near Ballan, which hosted the 1998 Victorian Five-Man Masters.[2] The team supplied the core refereeing staff for the tournament. The contemporary report stated that Apparition included former Blackwood Hunters members, some with more than ten years of paintball experience.[2] == Recorded results == {| class="wikitable" !
