The organiser announced men's premier and second-division competitions, a women's competition and a men's individual ranking event.[1]

The published programme specified five-player men's premier competition with a fifteen-minute time limit and six-point mercy rule. The men's second division and women's competition were scheduled with ten-minute limits and four-point mercy rules.[1]

An IRIB report published on 15 May recorded the completed women's and individual results, while stating that the men's divisional competitions would continue until 16 May.[2]

A subsequent Tehran provincial report confirmed Datis Tehran and Phoenix as the men's premier winner and runner-up. It also recorded Persian Hero second and Datis Old School third in the men's second division.[3]
