The organiser initially advertised the women's programme for 2–3 May (12–13 Ordibehesht) and the men's programme for 3–5 May (13–15 Ordibehesht). Its subsequent instructions scheduled women's matches for the morning of Wednesday 3 May, followed by men's group matches on Thursday 4 May and knockout matches on Friday 5 May.[1][4]

The women's results were published on 3 May. Contemporary reporting described the men's competition as a two-day event.[2][3]

The women competed in three-player electronic paintball, while the men's competition used a five-player electronic format.[5][6]
