Editing 2022 ICPL Golden State Classic

The '''2022 ICPL Golden State Classic''' was an [[International Classic Paintball League]] tournament held at [[Capital Edge Paintball Park]] in Sacramento, California, United States, from 8 to 10 April 2022. It featured professional and amateur 10-player competition and an open five-player division.[1]

Kapp Factory won the professional division, The Golden State Chess Club won the amateur division, and AFTERSHOCK won the open five-player competition.[2]

== ICPL status ==

The Golden State Classic formed part of the ICPL's expanded 2022 calendar. The league's contemporary preview described the additional tournaments as ''Open'' events, supplementing the major events in Maryland and Chicago.[3]

Its results counted towards the 2022 ICPL season standings.[4]

== Venue and formats ==

The tournament took place at Capital Edge Paintball Park, 9391 Florin Road, Sacramento. The contemporary event preview identified the venue as owned by Dave Bains and also used for the NXL Golden State Open.[1][3]

Open mechanical five-player competition was scheduled for Friday, 8 April. Professional and amateur 10-player competition was scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 9–10 April.[1]
