Editing 2020 NXL Australia WA Round 3

2020 NXL Australia WA Round 3 was a NXL Australia paintball tournament at WASP Paintball in Carabooda, Western Australia. It was advertised for 21 June 2020. The venue's contemporary photograph album confirms that the round took place, although verified match scores and final placings have not been established.[1][2][3]

Date and venue
Both PBLeagues and the league's official calendar advertised Sunday, 21 June 2020 at WASP Paintball. PBLeagues gave the address as 414 Karoborup Road, Carabooda, Western Australia.[1][2]

WASP published photographs identified as “2020 NXL Perth Round 3” on 26 June 2020. The album described the tournament as its first event following the shutdown and thanked the participating teams and referees.[3][4]

This contemporary record confirms that the round took place by 26 June, but does not independently specify its playing date.

Format
The league's calendar advertised five-man competition with Division 1 and Division 2 entry. The surviving PBLeagues listing instead offered a single Open five-man X-ball division with nine-minute games.[1][2]

Participation and results
WASP's photograph announcement identifies Plague Paintball at the event.[4]

PBLeagues retains no registered entries, and its score page states “No Games Completed”. These database records are incomplete as evidence of participation, given the venue's contemporary photographic record.[1][3][4][5]

A separate Plague Paintball report, accompanied by photographs dated 4 August 2020, also described a Perth “Round 3” and reported second place against STK Australia in Open. However, it described the competition as having occurred over the preceding weekend. Its relationship to the June event has not been resolved, so those placings cannot securely be assigned to this tournament.[6][7]

No verified match scores or final standings for the June round have been established.
