PALM Media's description of the Division 1 final identifies the event as the fourth round of the 2018 competition and records its dates, Tehran location and ten-team entry.[1]

A contemporary report published by ''Hamshahri Online'', citing the Sport for All Federation's public relations office, confirmed the completed fourth round. It reported that PALM competition and the accompanying national championships formed a four-day programme in Tehran.[2]

The organiser published a results post on 25 November 2018 identifying separate fourth-round, national championship and series championship classifications.[3]
