Editing 2018 NXL Australia NSW Round 1

2018 NXL Australia NSW Round 1 was a NXL Australia paintball tournament advertised for 3–4 March 2018 at Ultimate Paintball in Camden, New South Wales, Australia. A contemporary team report published by DYE Paintball confirms that the opening Sydney event took place, with nVs finishing first, Cartel second and Sydney Explicit third.[1][2]

Advertised date and venue
The organiser's New South Wales calendar listed Round 1 for 3–4 March 2018 and named Ultimate Paintball in Camden as the regional host venue. The next scheduled NSW event was Round 2 on 21–22 April.[1]

Confirmed results
In a report published on 27 March 2018, Sydney Explicit described competing at the first Sydney NXL event of the year and receiving a third-place trophy. The report also identified nVs as the winners and Cartel as runners-up.[2]

The report does not identify the division associated with these placings or provide individual match scores. These results therefore represent the reported podium rather than a complete classification across all divisions.[2]

Verification
The team report confirms that the opening Sydney event was completed. The dates of 3–4 March and the Camden venue are documented in the organiser's calendar; the report itself does not independently confirm the precise playing dates or whether competition occurred on both advertised days.[1][2]
