Editing 2016 NXL Australia

2016 NXL Australia covers the regional paintball competitions and associated pre-season events documented under the NXL Australia name during 2016. The league's advertised national season ran from July 2016 to June 2017, while Paintball Sports ACT separately advertised a four-event NXL calendar beginning in March 2016.[1][2][3]

Confirmed competition records include Queensland Round 1 on 10 July and the final RAW Paintball event on 9 October. Other surviving organiser records establish advertised arrangements without independently confirming completion.[4][5]

Organisation
The national league connected regional competitions whose qualifying teams would progress to a national championship. Its published arrangements allowed teams to compete in more than one regional series, with each series maintaining its own qualification process.[1]

The league advertised race-to-two competition, a firing-rate limit of 10.5 balls per second and rules based on the World Paintball Organisation framework, allowing for local variations.[1]

Victorian competition
RAW Paintball announced that its third round of 2016 would also be the first Victorian NXL Australia round. The announcement linked eligibility to participation in RAW and registration with NXL Australia.[5]

The recovered announcement does not establish that round's exact date or results. RAW's later report confirms that its calendar-year series concluded on 9 October 2016.[5]
