A contemporary participant report recorded 147 teams and more than 1,000 players, citing figures supplied by the organisers. More than 300 matches were played, comprising 1,073 points.[2]

The playing fields had artificial turf and inflatable bunkers, including the central W-shaped obstacle. The main field hosted professional matches and a separate one-on-one competition. The report also documented signs prohibiting coaching from the sidelines.[2]

The published Champions Paintball League (CPL) preliminary draw divided 16 teams into four groups.[5]

Edmonton Impact faced Paris Camp Carnage in the quarter-finals, while Houston Heat played Scorpions Milano. Both fixtures are preserved in the official broadcast archive.[6]

Impact and Breakout Spa advanced to the professional final, with Impact winning the tournament.[3][4]
