Editing 2010 CPPS Round 2

The '''2010 CPPS Round 2''' was the second round of the 2010 [[Central Premier Paintball Series]] season. The main competition took place on 11 April 2010, preceded by Saturday Funball on 10 April. Man Lions headed the published M5 results, while Disruption led the organiser's corrected M7 classification.[1][2][3][4]

== Dates and formats ==

The organiser scheduled M5 sections 1–4 for Sunday morning and section 5 for Sunday afternoon. Advertised starts were 9 a.m. and 1.15 p.m. respectively. M7 X Ball was also scheduled for 1.15 p.m. on Sunday. These were advertised times rather than a record of actual starts.[1]

Five-man teams were seeded across five sections, which the announcement explicitly distinguished from formal divisions. M7 used two groups and a race-to-four format with ten-minute matches.[1]

A contemporary Planet Eclipse report describes Saturday Funball followed by Sunday's main competition. Lucky Under 15s finished second in Funball, according to the team's captain.[4]

Harris published section scores and an overall list on 12 April. Teams received three points for a win and one for a draw, with elimination difference used in separating tied scores.[2]

The following table preserves the organiser's overall listing order and figures. Some entries appear out of points or elimination-difference order, so no additional numerical ranks have been assigned.[2]

Following questions about the original X Ball scores, Harris published an amended classification on 13 April. The table below follows that correction rather than the earlier provisional figures. “Match points”, point difference and ranking points are separate columns in the organiser's post.[3]
