The '''2009–2010 Aces High Race to 3 Series''' was a paintball competition hosted by Aces High Paintball in Palmerston North, New Zealand. The competition used a limited-paint format in which teams played to three points. Contemporary organiser reports confirm that the first series was completed and a second series followed in 2010.[1][2] == Format == The original announcement specified five players and one coach per team, with only the designated coach permitted to coach during games. Players were limited to a hopper and one pod, and field paint was compulsory. Participating teams were to provide referees on rotation under a head referee.[1] == First series == The series was announced on 21 August 2009, with four rounds scheduled between November 2009 and February 2010.[1] {| class="wikitable" ! A subsequent organiser report confirmed that the first series had been completed, without supplying individual round results.[2] == Second series == A second series ran in 2010. A contemporary Flickr collection titled ''Paintball - 2010 Race 2 3 - Series 2 - Round 3'' documents its third round. A photograph in the collection was uploaded on 9 May 2010 and credits Kerry White and Nick Gee for the photographs.[3][4] The organiser advertised 30 May 2010 as the date of the second series' final round.[2] == See also == * [[2010 Aces High Palmy Open]] == References == # [https://web.archive.org/web/20130218043820/http://paintball.net.nz/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2403&view=print NZ P8NT: Aces High Race to 3 Series], announcement by nzteza, 21 August 2009. # [https://web.archive.org/web/20130207171652/http://paintball.net.nz/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=2695 NZ P8NT: Aces High Race to Event], organiser's account of the preceding series, within the Aces High Palmy Open discussion, 2010. # [https://www.flickr.com/photos/spinner/albums/72157624020450292/ stick, Flickr: Paintball - 2010 Race 2 3 - Series 2 - Round 3], photographic collection. # [https://www.flickr.com/photos/spinner/4590651234/in/album-72157624020450292/ stick, Flickr: photograph from Series 2 Round 3], uploaded 9 May 2010; description credits Kerry White and Nick Gee.
