Editing 2008 Pengerang Open

The '''2008 Pengerang Open''' was a paintball tournament held on 19 and 20 January 2008 at Stadium Bandar Penawar, Pengerang, Kota Tinggi, Johor, [[Malaysia]]. Raskal won Division Pendekar, S2K won Division Pahlawan and Baraton won Pengerang Closed.[1]

== Organisation and participation ==
A contemporary report by Akira Nurtagaya identified Tactical Action Sdn Bhd and the [[Malaysian National Paintball League]] organising team as responsible for delivering the tournament.[1]

The report recorded the following participation:[1]

{| class="wikitable"
! Division
! Teams
|-
| Pendekar
| 8
|-
| Pahlawan
| 14
|-
| Pengerang Closed

Ten of the fourteen Pahlawan teams came from Johor.[1]

== Competition ==
Zealous led the Pendekar preliminary standings, while NoMercy led Pahlawan. The second day introduced best-of-three knockout quarter-finals, described in the contemporary account as a new MY-NPL competition format.[1]

Raskal faced Flanker in the Pendekar final, while S2K faced X3MIX in the Pahlawan final.[1]
