Editing 2006 MXball Opening Round

The '''2006 MXball Opening Round''' is reported in Saraí Fuentes García's 2009 UNAM study as the first round of [[MXball]] competition, held on 11–12 February 2006 with 16 teams participating.[1] These details derive from a later secondary account; no contemporary results table has been verified.

== Reported event details ==
The study describes the opening round as having independent refereeing and places it within a programme of ten planned rounds.[1] This does not establish that all ten rounds were completed.

The same passage describes MXball's playing format as three against three, with two eight-minute periods.[1] It does not identify the opening round's field by name or provide an event-specific team list.

== Competition results ==
No verified winner, finishing order, match scores or opening-round points table has been recovered. The reported participation figure should therefore be distinguished from a reconstructed entry list or competition results.
