The 2005 NPPL Denver Open was the third tournament of the 2005 NPPL Super 7 season, held from 22β24 July in Denver, Colorado. Sacramento XSV defeated San Diego Dynasty to secure its first professional Super 7 tournament victory.[1][2] == Venue == The tournament returned to the stadium parking venue used in 2004, with NPPL Action Turf laid over asphalt. It shared the location with the Vans Warped Tour.[1] == Professional competition == XSV led the preliminary standings. Eight teams advanced to a seven-game quarter-final round-robin, from which Dynasty, Oakland Empire, XSV and San Francisco Avalanche reached the semi-finals.[1] Dynasty and XSV each won their semi-final in two games. XSV then defeated Dynasty in consecutive championship games, opening with a 100β0 victory. Avalanche beat Oakland Empire two games to one for third place.[1] == Results == {| class="wikitable" |+ Final placings[2] ! Division !! First !! Second !! Third !!
