=== Development of the Blazer === During the mid-1990s, PPS began developing a more standardised semiautomatic marker. The resulting '''Blazer''' incorporated the company's pneumatic operating principles into a compact aluminium receiver. Unlike earlier PPS markers, which were individually constructed using brass components, the Blazer was designed to be manufactured more efficiently.[2] Development delays affected the initial release. By the early 2000s, the Blazer had become an established PPS product.
