== Collecting and restoration == === Vintage equipment === Early Autocockers have become collectible paintball equipment. Collectors distinguish between production generations, body styles and original component configurations. Original WGP markers and period custom models are particularly significant. === Serial numbers === Autococker serial numbers can help identify approximate manufacturing periods. However, serial-number records are incomplete. Some early markers incorporated transitional components or were extensively modified. Historical identification therefore often requires examination of the body, internal components and original documentation. === Restoration === Restoring an Autococker may involve replacing worn pneumatic hoses, seals, regulators and mechanical components. Original components are sometimes difficult to obtain. Specialist airsmiths and collectors maintain knowledge of historical configurations and operating procedures. The platform remains an important part of vintage paintball equipment collecting.
