== Related and derivative designs == === WGP Sniper === The WGP Sniper was the pump-action predecessor of the Autococker. Both designs shared a common mechanical foundation. The Autococker replaced the Sniper's manual pump operation with pneumatic recocking. === Pump conversions === Some Autococker bodies were subsequently converted back to pump-action operation. These conversions removed the pneumatic recocking assembly and installed a manual pump mechanism. They became popular among players participating in pump-only events. === Mechanical revival === Interest in mechanical paintball equipment continued after electronically controlled markers became dominant in professional competition. The Autococker remained popular among collectors, custom builders and players interested in traditional mechanical equipment. Specialist manufacturers continued to produce replacement components and custom builds.
