=== Changes following 2008 === Following the 2008 season, the original Hollywood HK roster became less active. In a March 2012 interview, Bear D'Egidio attributed the team's fragmentation partly to the loss of their friend Jason "Towlie" Caleef.[1] D'Egidio explained that the team continued to recruit players for occasional events but had not reassembled its original group. The precise dates of the team's intervening tournament appearances have not been fully established. The Hollywood HK name nevertheless remained associated with competitive paintball after 2008. The team was documented at the 2009 USPL Huntington Beach event, where it finished third in Division 1.
