=== 2009 season ===

MY-NPL headquarters and MAPAAC jointly announced the proposed 2009 league calendar. The schedule placed both the opening round and season finale at the academy, with other rounds in Johor Bahru, Kuantan and Malacca.[10]

The opening event took place over 13–15 February, including field inspection and a captains' meeting before the competition days. Division 1 used a seven-player format, while the other divisions retained five-player competition.[11]

MAPAAC was associated with the wider programme of MY-NPL feeder events, including the International Super Seven Championship. The 2009 championship itself was held at Dataran Petaling Jaya rather than at MAPAAC's regular Kompleks Sukan Astaka site.[10]
