Watson coordinated press and sponsor relations for PSP during the 2005 season. Contemporary coverage described her move into the role after graduating from college and stepping back from her previous playing schedule.[2]

Her responsibilities also extended to event planning. In autumn 2005, Watson and [[Lane Wright]] investigated potential venues for PSP's expanded 2006 tournament calendar. Their work included attending a national conference where city representatives presented their facilities to event promoters.[3]

The resulting schedule included a tournament in Round Rock, Texas, as PSP expanded from five events in 2005 to six in 2006.[3]
