== Competition ==

The preliminary schedule was divided into three groups. Competition began on Saturday morning and continued on Sunday before the combined playoff rounds.[3]

Nine teams contested the next stage on the Hyperball field. FARSIDE, MVPS Dark Ops and LOCKOUT formed one three-team group; GRIDLOCK, Team Smoke and DETROIT FUSION formed another; and Adrenaline, Infamous and The Misfits formed the third.[3]

FARSIDE, GRIDLOCK and Adrenaline advanced to the championship round on the Mounds field. FARSIDE scored 96 points against Adrenaline's eight and twenty against GRIDLOCK's seventeen. GRIDLOCK then scored 98 against Adrenaline's four.[3]

FARSIDE recorded the highest championship-round total with 116 points, followed by GRIDLOCK with 115 and Adrenaline with twelve. The separate classification standings placed FARSIDE first in professional competition and GRIDLOCK first in amateur competition.[2][3]
