=== Development ===

Bukowski and D'Egidio developed [[Hollywood Sports Park]] in Bellflower, California.

The project was conceived as a large themed entertainment and action-sports complex.

Contemporary reporting described the planned development as a $9 million investment.[8]

The proposed facilities included paintball fields, action-sports activities, restaurants and entertainment areas.

The project was intended to appeal to a wider audience than traditional paintball participants.

=== Construction and opening ===

Construction began around 2000–2001.

A contemporary WARPIG report published in April 2002 identified the project as the brainchild of Bukowski and D'Egidio.[5]

The article documented construction delays and described the facility as approaching completion.

Hollywood Sports Park opened during the summer of 2002.

A January 2004 press release identified Bukowski and D'Egidio as the owners of both Hollywood Sports Park and SC Village.[9]

=== Themed entertainment ===

Hollywood Sports Park became known for incorporating authentic motion-picture props and sets into its playing environments.

These included materials associated with films such as ''Starship Troopers'' and ''Waterworld''.

The use of film props reflected the developers' effort to create a more immersive recreational experience.

The facility also included purpose-built urban and tournament playing environments.

Hollywood Sports Park represented a substantial expansion of the commercial paintball business model established at SC Village.
