== Historical significance ==

Giant Paintball Alpine is significant as one of the documented facilities in the Giant Sportz network during the early 2010s.

Its historical importance includes:

* Providing recreational paintball and airsoft in eastern San Diego County
* Operating five named themed playing environments
* Participating in the five-park Giant Sportz marketing network
* Offering equipment rental and organised group activities
* Serving as a separate location from Giant Paintball Lakeside
* Forming part of the commercial paintball development associated with Dennis Bukowski and Giovanni D'Egidio

The surviving documentation also provides an opportunity to investigate the later history of the Browns Road site and its relationship with other paintball and airsoft operators.
