== 2001 tournament == The second Spyder Cup took place on 26β28 May 2001. More than 85 amateur teams competed, with preliminary play on Saturday and Sunday and the finals on Monday.[2] Nemesis KAPP of Boca Raton, Florida, won ahead of Overkill of Maryland and Nasty. The winning roster comprised Todd Brister, Josh Muller, Damian Andres, Steve Tota and Jeremy Lantier.[2] Each Nemesis KAPP player received a Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder convertible. The team also received a US$10,000 Raven contingency award for wearing the company's equipment. The organisers reported more than US$175,000 in prizes.[2] Another exhibition involving Pittsburgh Steelers players supported Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, which received a US$10,000 donation from Kingman.[2]
