Editing Joy Division (section)

=== Early international competition ===

Joy Division developed within the Swedish tournament paintball scene during the 1990s.

Magued Idris became closely associated with the organisation as a player, captain and co-founder.[1]

The team was competing internationally by 2000, when contemporary [[WARPIG]] records documented its participation in the professional 10-man division at the NPPL Los Angeles Open.[8]

Joy Division subsequently became a regular competitor in the European Millennium Series, participating in tournaments against leading American and European teams.

During this period, the team also recruited guest players from established American professional organisations.

At the 2001 Millennium Series Portugal tournament, players from the Southern California Ironmen competed as guests with Joy Division.[9]
