Editing Giant HK (section)

=== Origins in Southern California paintball ===

Giant HK developed from the Southern California tournament paintball community associated with '''Hollywood HK''', also known as the Hostile Kids.

The Hollywood HK team was active in the NPPL during the late 2000s.

The team's identity was associated with the emerging HK Army paintball culture, which combined competitive tournament play with distinctive clothing, equipment and visual branding.

The precise date on which the Giant HK name was first adopted has not been established.

Contemporary reporting from March 2012 described Giant HK as a returning team rather than an entirely new organisation.[1]

This suggests continuity with the earlier Hollywood HK roster and competitive identity.

However, the available documentation does not establish whether Giant HK was formally a renamed Hollywood HK team, a successor squad or a new entry organised around returning players.
