=== California Paintball Park ===

The history of the Combat Paintball Park location predates the modern Combat name.

The site was previously operated as '''[[California Paintball Park]]'''.

A historical WARPIG directory listed California Paintball Park in Castaic on 20 July 1999.[3]

A 2001 Los Angeles County planning record also documented an existing paintball facility at the location.

The planning application concerned a facility occupying approximately 35 acres and sought permission to regularise its existing use.

A September 2009 magazine profile identified '''Les Vido''' as the owner of California Paintball Park at that time.[7]

The article reported that the park had originally opened in 1990, although independent evidence for that exact opening year has not been established.

By 2009, the venue included recreational playing fields, tournament facilities, equipment rental and covered staging areas.

The park also offered evening tournament practice on a lighted arena.
